Pet frogs and traffic.

For bloggers, climbing high in the traffic rankings is usually the best measure of success... it means your audience is growing and people are really responding to your work.

Well... I barely crack the top 100,000 blogs, so clearly my un-Perez-like traffic means I need to measure my success by a different yardstick... I revel in seeing what search terms drive people to my blog... especially people searching for totally random things, and are then subjected to my potty-mouthed rants on the all important topic of decor.

Today, I got a visitor from this search on Google: "how do I know if my pet tree fog is hibernating or dead?"

It appears I am the #1 Google search result for this query.

I sincerely apologize for the grieving pet tree fog owner for encountering my foul-mouthed blog in your time of anxiety and sorrow. Best wishes from Decorno.

I recently had someone who searched for "Jackie slut" and I popped right up. Now that's a compliment.

With Pigtown in my name, I get all sorts of strange things! But never a dead frog.

My claim to fame is "vulva musk." You should only be so lucky.

an affair was something you used to be invited to and traffic used to be a "bad" thing but now is something highly coveted!
now that poor frog was clearly kissed by the wrong blogger, otherwise he clearly would be a prince!
love your blog!

How would one find out this sort of information? And, imagine how surprised the frog owner was. If he's not 10, maybe he's increasing your numbers!

I had a google search hit on one letter- iifc it was "t" - what is that all about? there's a great post on google searches by Lavender Chick about her bird and a porn star who share a name:

At least tree frogs aren't teen age porno stars!
