Amy's Ebay chic.

One of the pleasures of having a blog is receiving unsolicited mail with happy little surprises... like this email, from a Decorno reader named Amy:

Hi,

Hope this doesn't sound creepy but I am one of your
stalkers. I love your blog and think you are
hysterical, especially when you are a little bitchy.
Anyway, I have decorated my house almost entirely via
ebay and consignment stores and really want to share
the photos. Hope you like them...

-Amy

Well how nice is that? And how much do you love this place? There are like 9 things I want to go in there and steal, as a matter of fact.

Amy - lock your doors. Maybe YOU have the stalker, now.

The chairs, the art, that amazing grey-ish color on the wall there... this shit is BADASS. I love it.

Confidential to Brother Parish: You love those paintings, huh? Thought you would.

Beautiful home!! I would love to know more about the photo (painting?) in the dining room by the table.

What a fun surprise to have received these pics!

I am so excited!! Thanks so much for posting my photos.
The photo above the dining room is a random ebay purchase (it's John Belushi). I have a serious ebay addiction.

I love the gallery wall! EBay is such a great place to buy affordable art!

I asked Amy if she was a designer. She is not. She's a dermatologist. Her friend is a designer who helps Amy edit, but Amy's is, in her words, the ebay and the pop culture addict.

Hopefully Amy can send more photos in the future... she said she has more to show... she's even redone her basement.

I am jealous.

wow, you must be flattered to be stalked and also for someone to truly appreciate your inner b--chy ness.
chicest form of compliment cause it does take guts.

Hey Amy, since I've already complimented your decorating, could you take a look at this thing on my arm?...

(Seriously, your paint color choices are brave and inspiring.)

WOWOWOW. What an incredible place.

What is that chandelier in the living room?

I must know more about your chandelier. Are they pages from a book or handwritten? Are they lacquered or plastic made to appear like paper? I have a four-tiered lamp in my home crafted from diary writings that I absolutely adore.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Great photos! Love the color Grey! And decorating by ebay - I could probably give Amy a good run for her money between ebay and Craig's list. I'm so excited to see that others have this obsession as well :) Great post and fabulour place!!

omg, I was just about to post the same thing about being a Decorno stalker when I saw this post!! I guess I'm not the only one who might sound creepy but, I did just spend the last three hours at work reading all the posts on here...I am seriously f*ing laughing out loud!!

First, Amy I love your place! I am an e-bay junkie as well, and I love your gallery wall- I am copying it in my apt. asap!

Second Decorno I need your help in a major way- I'm taking pictures tonight and will post later. I need all the advice I can get.

Amy, your home is amazing! So electic with a very "collected" feel. I especially love your portrait wall and dining room.

Now THAT's inventive. Not just some tired pile of Louis XIV, XV, XVI, etc. etc....

WOW! I LOVE this home! And I'm thrilled to see such a large home decorated so well! I feel like a lot of people with newer, large homes often don't have a clue how to decorate them (getting the scale right when you have huge ceilings and lots of space is tough!) but this is phenomenal! LOVE the gallery wall and LOVE the bathroom ;) Thanks, decorno for posting!

I can't wait to send more photos - you guys are making me feel wonderful! The chandelier in the kitchen with the papers is actually at Design Within Reach (I got mine cheaper online) and I just added pieces of paper with nonsense on them.
I can't believe there are so many other people that like weird woman portraits. I think it's a sickness - I can't stop buying them.

How fantastic! I love the wall of women. Those white chairs are spectacular, especially against that grey (reminds me of the Viceroy in that way).
