If decor is your porn, this is your blog.
I am sure my mail guy is flipping through it right now...
Drew's the perfect Domino cover girl, isn't she?(Thank god it's not another eco-twit.)
Way to go decorno!
I want it so bad i'm almost at the store. (i don't have a subscription)
I swear my magazines take about 4 times as long as everyone else's to get to me! Argh!
Well, I just went to the magazine emporium across the street and ask the guy to please unpck the rest of his shipment to see if it was there. It's wasn't.(The fact that I subscribe AND am willing to buy it on the newsstand makes me super dumb. )But I don't think anyone has it yet since newsstands get it before subscribers as a rule (annoying, for sure). I am crossing my fingers that it arrives tomorrow when the magazine place unpacks their Ingram shipment.
I loved that you asked, D! I need to study under you.
I read that Drew sent a letter campaigning for her recent Vogue cover, and then she did Oprah, and now Domino's cover. I know I live under a rock, but it occurs to me that I should ask:Does she have a movie coming out?
Hey Decorno. I just subscribed to Domino, but I've never read it. Now, I'm really looking forward to it. T8www.strangeclosets.com
Isn't it the job of the movie studios or the distributors, or whatever group of money-bags execs, to arrange for the stars to get all that press around movie-release time? Seems like it'd be a way-low-budget movie if poor Drew had to go begging for publicity herself.
I have a magazine issue...a touchy-feely issue I mean - I hate it when anyone reads my new magazines before I do. So I hope your mail guy is gentle.
It's the movie version of the book version of the "Sex and the City" theme "He's Just Not That Into You."Please, god, don't have Ben Stiller in it...
Anon - you're safe. No Ben Stiller:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1001508/Kevin Connolly will be in it, so I am definitely going to be there opening night. Jennifer Connelly, too. And Ginnifer Goodwin. I will be sure to attend the premier to let her know - in person - how to spell her name correctly.
She deliberately chose to spell her name that way (I think someone else in SAG had already claimed the "Jennifer" spelling or some such thing).
Can you explain why "green" is in parenthesis on the cover, as in "win a 'green' home"?
Because the house is made of asbestos, but it's naturally occurring asbestos.
It would have been a better story if Drew had hired some old guy, like Albert Hadley, and he had gotten thoroughly disgusted with her and just sent over a lot of insane antiques from Sotheby's and a bill for $16 million.
