You are so right...no, no, no. I always hated those things, from the first day I ever saw one. They are so Hobby Lobbyesque. Don't get me wrong, there are things we need from Hobby Lobby, but definitely not this.
Do you think Poverty Barn is ever ashamed of itself? I mean, you can't find these at PB anymore, but you can see the spawn of these at Z Gallerie, etc etc. Do you think the product people are ever at, like their cousin's home in, say, Walnut Creek, and they spy some crap product like this on the wall a full 8 years after PB introduced it... do you think they want to tear it down and say "Keep up! That was a bad idea! We've moved on!"

Are you sure? It took someone three weeks of summer-camp crafts classes to make these.
But...what will happen to Vern Yip?
Can we add "candle-liers" to that? Um, houses have been electrified for the past 100 years or so.

Bad. Very, very bad. Wince-making.
They're not great, but they're not "very, very bad."
These candle sconces are like the equivalent of CURLZ. A taper in a decent candlestick is like a fresh breath of Helvetica. Someone save us!!!
"Fresh breath of Helvetica"--LOVE that. Great name for a blog.
bwahahahah -- I think I love you.
