Speaking of Pottery Barn...

Have you seen the video house "tours" (or whatever they are) on their site?
First up is Deborah Needleman. You can see it HERE.

Discuss.

Nice crib. I could see coming home to this place, mixing myself a nice bamboo-charcoal-and-tonic...

I'm feeling catty...She sounds pedigreed or something...and how much does everyone think she just put those PB rugs in there for the shoot?

In her next video, for Terminix, she will showcase her David Hicks-covered roach traps.

That place had to cost a fortune if it's in NYC!

Beautiful place, but why is this on the Pottery Barn website?? You KNOW she doesn't ever shop there.........how much did they pay her?

jeez, we all want to just hate pottery barn right. I love her home! I'm just sayin'...Maybe it time to stop the all the design snobbery....As a former West Elm, Williams-Sonoma home employee, the product is def improving.

I say it's time to accelerate the design snobbery.

I guess it's her reality. Glass doors are not very child friendly, and none of the rooms look like children inhabit this place. I doubted she really had kids until they showed up in the last snarky shot with her on the couch. Maybe they were rented child actors. How clever of PB to exploit the hot flash-in-the-pan Neddleman/Domino trend, because of the two sisal rugs she "got" from them. She did a good job of making a loft look like an old lady apartment on the Upper West Side.

Well, I am over the snobbery...I guess "A new Earth" has helped (snarkily).

I like how people act like it's a crime that they brought in rugs or something for the photo. PB used her place for the catalog. Not exactly a secret. That's how these things work.

She's very pretty, I think. Always photogenic.

I like her place, too.

I am forming a theory that the only people in NYC who have perfect hair, perfect clothes, and perfect apartments are the ones who work at magazines. Everyone else seems to get by shopping at Duane Reade and H&M, and knows that the set of Friends was, really, just a set.

People are annoyed because Needleman is a journalist, and as such, she is supposed to be at least pretending to be impartial, not doing what are essentially commercials for a potential Domino advertiser.

I don't know if this is the right place to vent my frustration but it is Domino related. Has anyone seen the new issue of Domino? Have you noticed the same damn West Elm Parson's Desk in FOUR different articles and a Parson's coffee table as well? What the hell Domino? Add some variety to your photoshoot props..

i couldn't watch the whole thing. her voice and the way she talks is putrid.
