I am convinced Roland Bello can make anything look good. Last March, he came to Chicago to shoot my apaartment for a magazine, and not only did he take some great moody shots of the public areas of my place, he also managed to turn my 1926 kitchen sink--rust stains, pot scrubber, dish drainer & all--into an object of incredible beauty. And totally aside from all that, he's a heck of a nice guy. Not to mention a true professional, since he shot the whole thing while he was sick. What a trouper.

Have never seen an Eames fiberglass shell in that color before. Striking.

@anon8:42 - I had an Eames baby chair in that color until my stupid fat cousin sat in it and broke it when I was 5. It made me very upset.

Dude, that beautiful table. It'd be a bitch to clean but it would be worth it. I would sit and stare at it every day.

You can find petal tables fairly often; keep checking places like eBay. There is one classic version by Richard Schultz; 1stDibs has several examples for sale.
