It has been wonderfully cool out here in the desert recently - actually pretty f*ing perfect.
I know you will be sorely tempted to jet over to the new Knott's Soak City USA, but just say NO! Palm Springs has better things to offer than water parks and casinos - like call boys and liquor - oh and meth. ;)

I just got married in Palm Springs! Go by The Horizon Hotel on Palm Canyon drive and say hello to the bartender, Christian. He'll make you this incredible fruit concotion dowsed in alcohol and order you the best club sandwich from Elmers. And if you're up for a delicious meal, don't miss Le Vallauris, they catered my reception, amazingly French and mouth watering! Don't spend all your hard earned money at the outlets, although it's pretty hard not too. Have fun!

enjoy!!! i just got back from the parker myself + the weather was Perfect!! the south pool is the best.. with it's jacuzzi + almost no guests last week, we practically had the place to ourselves!

I designed the plantings in that garden!!!
I LOVE The Parker!
You should have seen it before it was turned into The Parker - Yikes! it was called the Merv Griffin Givenchy and it was ... ouch. They tried to have an English style garden, and whenever a bit of hedge would die, they would spray paint it green instead of re-planting it!
I hope you enjoy your stay there! I am totally proud of that garden!
