When the print trend is over:

I think this picture will be the poster-child of its demise. So much pattern, even in that (Stark?) carpet. Oy.

Also, one of these things is not like the other (coffee table, I am talking to you).

Yeah, that chair fabric makes me dizzy, especially with the turned frames. Too much.

I like some pattern in drapes, but I prefer upholstery in solid colors with a lot of texture. Thumbs-down on the chair fabric for me. I do like the carpet though.

It's like someone told he decorator: "I want it to look like Jonathan Adler, but without the fun."

Yea, it's a little tori spelling-ish for me...the carpet doesn't match the drapes and a bit of a nightmare.

As Jonathan Adler might say, " The color combination is a little Golden Girls."

David, you're my favorite new(ish) commenter here. I always love it when you leave a comment.

Print is a trend? I have prints so the dog hair doesn't show. Well, not the same print on every surface.

I am enjoying the color combination and I do like the shape of the chairs, but less is more in the business of patterns.

Sorry, I love it.
But maybe that's because my hubs has severe ADD and I need our house to be super stimulating so he'll leave me the f* alone.

Yes- I am not to crazy about this type of pattern and then to see this much of it together will give you a headache. Daisy~

yes, this sort of design print is definitely going to become the "shoulder pads" of this decade.

It's trying to be all jaunty and brash and Palm Beach, but it's actually quite timid.

Notice that all the patterned stuff--the chair upholstery, the throw pillows, and the curtains--are the same print. It's so matchy-matchy and safe.

And for the finishing touch... seashells!

Sick and wrong.

It's not "sick and wrong" (though I love that label). It's just underinspired. I'd give it a C.
