How much fun does he look? I love that he (or his 'friend') decoupaged his stove.....I think that alone forfeits your security deposit! thats a rental!!!
I love it, but to be honest, my eyes felt funny and I got dizzy when I was looking at the hallway. Sometimes I wonder if I have secret, underlying epilepsy.
Just caught wind of a glass art auction from Dave Chihuly’s school, pilchuck, going on in seattle - Oct 30th, 10 pm E/9pm C They said it will be broadcast live via auctionnetwork.com, along with a tool that lets Internet viewers to bid remotely against the floor. -- nice for me, cause I’m out of state! Here’s a youtube video about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN3nA3P2Nfw
I get this layout, the only thing I don't dig is the kitchen. The handpainted cabinets are horrible and the stove is awful. I love decoupage in certain settings, but not on the stove. What about when he does use it, ew?! I was actually shocked to see he didn't have a fancy shmancy stove even though he doesn't use it
I saw those photos in Domino when I was browsing the magazine section. I bought the magazine because of these rooms - phenomenal use of colour. This man is VERY talented.

I was in that apartment years ago, and it looks just as fabulous as it did then. Truly inspiring—and it's just a little railroad flat!
Wow, that looks amazing!
I've been seeing a lot of dark-grey walls lately. It looks like it makes a house very nap-ready.
The stove reminds me of a friend who once told me "I dust my stove." Living alone in a small Honololu condo, she wasn't one to cook.
That bathroom or whatever it is gives me vertigo but I love the gray walls.

Not impressive at all.
Awful combinations.
#1- Maybe?
#2- Yes.
#3- Yes, please!
I am currently trying to decide which one of my rooms wants to become this graphite hue. It really does give a second life to brown wood furniture.
whoa! that first picture gave me a total head rush. ow..
I fucking hate that first picture. Reminds me of a bad drug trip.
Other than the b&w wallpaper cheers for how colorful, cozy and personal it all is.
Decorno, I've given you an award on my blog today. Applause, applause!

Love that chest in the second picture.
I could spend a fortune on furniture.

chihuly!?! really? ga ROSS!
Seriously. Chihuly is a hack. A blind hack who makes his interns make his art for him.
Fantastic room.
Love the dark smokey wall color, the red rugs.
I'm loving dark grey wall with burst of bright colors. ...mostly white/yellow/and/or/fuchsia
