If decor is your porn, this is your blog.
I would find it difficult to really throw down in an all wite bedroom. It's like I would be afraid to wrinkle or, heaven forbid, stain anything.I love all the frames on the wall of the first pic, though. I have plaster walls so I am really limited in what I can hang up.
I love the artwork hanging in the first photo but I don't think I could lay my head on a pillow covered in hands. It reminds me of this pillow my husband's roommate had in college. It had airbrushed boobs all over it and he was a total stoner--no matter what time we came home he'd be sleeping on the couch drooling all over his tittie pillow.I think I'd rather sleep on a tittie pillow than a hand pillow. That's just me...
How I didn't know you before today is beyond me but happily I'm here now! I'm off to vote for you, and adore your blog. I'll add you to my blogroll and then I'm diving into your archives =]
You can hang anything on plaster walls...that is no excuse. You just need to know what you are doing and have the right hangars. Museums do it all the time.Nice bedrooms. I think I'd pass on a tittie pillow; the hands are cool - and it looks like a decorative sham anyway. Some of them are not made for sleeping with, they are decorative only.
The hand pillow screams "Rachael Ray."
ehhh... patching plaster is a pain in my ass. it is bad enough i have to fix other people's mistakes without making a million holes in my walls myself.once i get the picture rail in, i would be more likely to do somethign bold.
Agree with Puck. Putting holes that close together in plaster is asking for trouble.
Love the top bedroom. And the hand pillow is graphic and playful...perfect accent in that room
