there's a cool song, which has this line in the lyrics. it's called this year by the mountain goats.

We'd like to see this same sentiment in cross-stitch. :)

Those are fun. I like "I told my therapist about you." Just send it to someone in an email with no other words. Nice.

There was an older women in my small town generally known as a wacko who would mutter, "It must be purified through the colors." I've never known what that phase meant, but it has always made me smile. Maybe this year we will be purified through the colors of doing less with less! Kinda like walking through prism of transformation or something.Have a colorful day!

It's the new "Keep Calm and Carry On." Heh.

Seriously, it's the message we all need to hear. I'm about to put myself on a news blackout.

News blackout, definitely.

But I've been doing some shopping and some travelling. So many things are on sale! Hotel rooms! Shoes! Antiques!

And before I incur the wrath of those of you who aren't in a good financial position, I truly believe it's important for those of us with some money available to pump it back into the economy. You might not appreciate reading about my new sheets, but the store owner who sold them to me certainly appreciated the sale.
