I hear you on that! I could never find a blush I liked and then I found Moon Beam - AMAZING

Sorry to be so dumb, but what is it?

Take my advice: Armani Fluid Sheer (it's a highlighter like High-Beam). THAT is life-changing. Nordstrom will make you a sample. The foundation too, for that matter.

Oh, I know! High beam is by far the best beauty product in my makeup bag. This stuff makes me look glowy and awake at an 8 am meeting even during the worst hangover(s) ever = magic in a bottle.

Alice - YES! Seriously. High Beam and a Vicodin are the best hangover remedies I have yet to discover.

Linda - not a dumb question. It's kind of like foundation, but it's kind of sheer and leaves you with a glow. You know when you see celebrities and they have that dewy skin? This is how they get it. I don't put it on all over, just on cheeks, really.

Stacy - I am going to try your recommendation. I'll try any skin product once.

That good huh? For all skins?

Do those people with hangovers know how bad their breath smells?
They're not fooling anyone.

They had me at "supermodel in a bottle." Just sayin'

"Supermodel in a bottle".

Yeah, and monkeys might fly out of my butt.

I only can think "boobs" when I look at this brand. High beams? Come on....it's too easy.

You know...I've almost purchased this twice. I'll take your recommendation. Life changing in a bottle? Why not. I've certainly tried lip glosses that altered my outlook.

I love this product too!

Totally agree. On the weekends, this is usually all I wear because it makes my skin glow and look refreshed while staying light. LOVES IT!

Hi, I'm a make-up artist, here's the deal.. It's a highlighter. Use it on you cheekbones, under your eyebrows and a tiny bit above the cupids bow on your lips. I also use it on the collarbone and for ladies who wish to enhance their assets, a little bronzer between the boobs, highlighter on the top round part.

If you like High Beam, you MUST try Benetint, by the same brand. It is the best, most natural blusher for all skin tones I have ever worked with. I've been using in for 10 years.

Best beauty product I own.

i loved it but had to stop using it as it made my cheeks break out. zits at 38? bogus!

Benefit is the best. Any product you buy from them, you WILL be willing to back and shell out another $35 for 0.5 fl oz oft he same stuff.

doesn't it get caught in your wrinkles? i bought high beam a few years back and i thought it made me look old.

loved it, until found out it has all the bad pore clogging ingredients. :( my esthetician demanded I stop using it.

Rose said...

Yep, you're right Chloe, high beam is not for older skin, nothing that shimmery is I'm afraid. That includes lipsticks and eyeshadows.

I second the BeneTint suggestion. That stuff is amazing.

I swear by Benefit's It Stick. it's the most amazing concealer in the world. I also love their Dandelion blush...perfect for pale freckle-faces like me.

and yes, BeneTint is also life-changing. did you know it was orginally developed to put on strippers' nipples to make them pinker? TRUE!

I will not be without this stuff. I use it on my brow bone and on the inner corners of my eyes (in a tiny "V" shape). It makes your eyes look amazing and I haven't found a better trick yet to make you look as well rested. Plus, I've had mine forever and I MEAN for-ever) and it's still good. I usually love all Benefit products, and recently bought "posie tint"-so cute! It's much lighter and a bit more pink than benetint(which I also own), but looks as good with a smoky eye as with a fresh face. For a similar effect under the eye I recently purchased Touche Eclat by YSL, and although it was a bit of a splurge, it works wonders. It's not a concealer, but used over concealer it reflects light off the area and makes you look awesome. The first one I bought lasted five months with daily use.

Isn't this a decorating blog?

I bought this yesterday - my skin has never looked so glowy, thanks for the tip! The dr feelgood looks kind of interesting as well, might give it a whirl..
