If decor is your porn, this is your blog.
That font. I love it. I want to open a store or restaurant just to use it on the signs or the menus or whatever.
The internet is really smart. Surely it can identify that font. Get to work internet!
Isn't there an iPhone app you can use? Hold it up to your iPhone, The Decorno, and a robotic voice will speak the name of the font!
It is lovely.
I love it and really love its accompanying little arrow....
I'd like to know where I can have a font identified, too. Not this one, another one, and I just love it.
My husband is a newspaper designer and typographer. He reckons it's an old-style serif (roman), probably Garamond. He says as soon as he saw the bottom stem of the cap L, he knew. Seriously.
To my eyes and I look at fonts all day long, I think part of the charm of that sign is that I believe it to be hand painted (but Garamond would be were I'd go for recreating it)
This usually works pretty good. http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/
