If decor is your porn, this is your blog.
you go look at THIS while I go to Palm Springs.
Did I just see this guy on American Pickers?
love his art.
Not totally my scene, but I could see beauty. Pretty bad ass realization of a dream.
I love it! Thank you for that! I wanted to introduce you to a favorite blog of mine http://www.designtrackmind.com/. She also has a website at www.melissagulley.com/. I think you might like it because you both have the same fabulous taste. She loves turquoise, thinks gray sucks, and has a way of organizing a home beautifully. Check her out! She is based in Newton, Massachusetts but has a lot of clients in Weston, Wellesley and Brookline.Pragmatic Mom (http://pragmaticmom.com)
bitch...unless, of course, you're not serious
If I said Palm Beach, I meant Palm Springs. I have Palm Beach on the brain.
Send pix of Palm Springs. I know you hate pix but I don't say snaps.
I was speechless until I saw the view of the outside of the house with the dovetail joints and all. There is some serious craftsmanship there. If the article hadn't said he studied zoology the word "cracker" would have come to mind. As for the art, not a fan, as for the burning vagina it might be quite liberating. As for the double denim, still not a fan.
That Chanin chick bugs me. She's advertised her "sewn by local seamstresses" motto in a number of publications- yet, when I tried on a couple of her (quite ill-fitting) tops at A-pology they were clearly marked "Made in India". Full of it. Rockin' bed, though.
My bad, Chanin is no longer affiliated with her original project:http://alabamastudiostyle.blogspot.com/She acknowledges the outsourcing. Still a rockin' bed.
Can't I go to Palm Springs instead? Have fun.
You going to Palm Springs during the White Party weekend? Trolling for vintage finds or trolling with the fab boys in the desert? Enjoy the sunny days!
What a great find, I'm going to start a road trip penny jar right now.
Thank you!!!!!! What a great story, I have been telling everyone I meet about it.
Hell yes. Butch has a hearse with taxidermied animals glued all over it and we used to ride around in it in the Summer drinking warm beer. Homesick...
Totally saw this guy on American Pickers too! Although on AP, it made him seem like a real backwoods-y guy that had this quirky flair for crafty art.
side note... will you do a post on palm springs? I am going there in a few weeks and I'd LOVE to know what you loved while you were there. thanks decorno!
