Agreed.
I am sharing your frisson of joy and the general surprise that this has never been thought of before. Why are we so slow???
Nice. Glad you like it and that it makes you irrationally happy. I understand. Take happiness where you can, D.! I do like the green cabinets with the black counters.
This, however, wouldn't work for me (maybe, others?) for at least two reasons: 1. The paper towel opening would quickly become a grungy mess with my kids grabbing at paper towels with their grimy (but adorable) paws. They would probably waste more, too. (Yes, I know it is my responsibility to discipline them. Working on that.) 2. I'm always a little skeptical of new-fangled ways to do the tried-and-true. (Trash compactors, anyone?) This may quickly become dated--or not. Who knows? In any case, I'd much rather someone figure out where to put the wet dish cloth, cleaning cloths, damp dish towels, etc.
o gawd I have that on my pinterest and thought, why the frick did I not think of that?
life changing
oh goodness. I agree that this is genius, but I am one of "those" people who only uses cloth napkins for dining and washcloths for cleaning so all I see is "ACK SO WASTEFUL!"
so, way to save the environment Decorno. geez.
amen
This is so clever. Simple and very functional. I love it!
you know what's sad? when your favorite blog / blogger goes out with a photo of paper towels. sigh. miss you, d.
I wanted this. I tried it and it just did not work for me.
The damn paper towels are on the counter for all to see and to use.
pve
no. i see water drips all down the cabinet below, and grubby marks around the opening.
but it looks good...
Can't agree with this one--one spill close to the edge of the counter and the first thing you reach for has a waterfall of cranberry juice in front of it. Nevermind the awkward posture required to refill the roll. Nope, up off the counter, please--even if only half an inch.
